Once the Windows SCSI card drivers are installed all SCSI
devices will be shown in device manager.
If you have forgotten to switch your SCSI scanner on before booting into
Windows, simply turn the power on to the scanner and choose refresh.
If you get intermittent FATAL BLUE SCREEN errors when
booting into windows, reporting an OD or OE error, check the SCSI setup
screen, usually CNTRL+A when the computer is booting.
Make sure slower devices, such as the CD-ROMS or scanner are set to slower
speeds and most likely wide, not ultra-wide.
Ensure that the SCSI controller card ID is set to 7 and
any hard disk to 0 or 1.
Ensure that each device on the end of the cable has termination set to ON (or a terminator fitted, an active terminator in the case of a LVD hard disk), and the card set to Auto termination.
Generally once the SCSI card is working, you can add SCSI devices very easily. Just plug them in and next time you reboot they will be seen by the system.
